It’s not easy being green, but spring was just around the corner in Palantine City, Ar Nemnu’s capital – and the central parliament invited every citizen to hear a lesson on St. Patrick’s Day – a lesson that typically concluded with an exchanging of peace and prosperity.
It was much different that day. The celebrations of Ireland’s independence carried on as usual with many parades and other events of Irish origin. However, the government had decided to expand the celebrations to the entire country – with one major change: the addition of a traditional blessing of Ireland. Typically, an Irish blessing runs as follows:
May the road rise to meet you,
May the wind be always at your back.
May the sun shine warm upon your face,
The rains fall soft upon your fields.
And until we meet again,
May God hold you in the palm of his hand.
